Pentafecta a type of bet
Select five horses to finish first, second, third, fourth and fifth in the correct order in a race nominated by the Club.
Peso see Timbang
Pick Five a type of bet
Select five horses (one horse for each race nominated by the Club) to finish first in each of the five consecutive races designated as Pick 5 event.
Pick Four a type of bet
Select four horses (one horse for each race nominated by the Club) to finish first in each of the four consecutive races designated as Pick 4 event.
Pick Six a type of bet
Select six horses (one horse for each race nominated by the Club) to finish first in each of the six consecutive races designated as Pick 6 event.
Pigil
To ease or back-up; to slow down relative to other jockeys in a race or to spare horse dangerous exertion by slowing it down.

Photo Finish
A race too close to call, the winner is declared by looking at photograph.

Place a type of bet
Select a horse to finish either first, second or third where the total number of runners is eight or more. Where the total number of runners is five, six or seven, select a horse to finish either first or second.
Programa
The race program or card.
